Future Tense
FUNGSI:
a.Untuk menggambarkan suatu peristiwa yang akan terjadi.
Contoh:
- Bobby will come here tomorrow.
- I shall call my parents when I get home.
b.Untuk menyatakan sesuatu yang terjadi di masa mendatang yang bukan merupakan keinginan atau kehendak.
Contoh:
- Tomy will be fourteen years old next year.
- We shall die one day.
KETERANGAN WAKTU: Tomorrow, next week/month/year, the day after tomorrow.
POLA Kalimat:
S + will/shall + Verb-1
Future Tense dengan pola TOBE+GOING TO
Fungsi: Untuk menggambarkan peristiwa yang akan datang namun sudah direncanakan sebelumnya.
Contoh:
- We are going to have final exam next April.
- My sister is going to get married in March.
POLA:
S + tobe(AM, IS, ARE) GOING TO + Verb-1.

Yang harus Anda pelajari untuk persiapan UAN adalah semua materi SMP yang Anda dapatkan mulai dari kelas VII sampai kelas IX. Karena belajar bahasa Inggris adalah sebuah proses dan UAN merupakan final dari proses pembelajaran Anda selama di SMP. Tetapi, yang paling utama harus Anda siapkan adalah:
a) Genre, yang meliputi: Teks Deskriptif, Recount, Narrative, Procedure dan Report.

Gerund adalah kata kerja yang dibendakan. Pola Gerund adalah Verb1+ing. Didalam kalimat, Gerund berfungsi sebagai kata benda sehingga letaknya ada diposisi Subyek atau Obyek.
Contoh:
-Swimming is my hobby.
(Ketika pembicara mengatakan kalimat ini, dia tidak sedang berenang).
-I am swimming in the swimming pool.
(Kata swimming setelah TOBE menggambarkan bahwa si pembicara sedang melakukan aktifitas tersebut ketika sedang berbicara).

Langkah menyusun pidato:
1.Sebelum menyusun pidato, Anda perlu mengetahui hal - hal seperti berikut: Dalam rangka apa (acara apa), siapa audience-nya, berapa lama waktu yang diberikan kepada Anda untuk berpidato, dll.
2.Tentukan topik yang hendak disampaikan.
3.Buatlah kerangka pidato (poin - poin yang hendak disampaikan).

4.Kembangkan kerangka tersebut menjadi sebuah teks pidato yang siap disampaikan.
5.Edit (cek) sekali lagi sebelum pidato dibawakan (isi, bahasa, dll).

Mother is always there whenever we need a shoulder to cry on, whenever we need to lean on, and whenever we need someone to talk to, mother will be our nice friend.
In Mother's day, we, as children should give special attention for our mother by giving special things which she likes most. It will be better if we spoil our mother and let her free from doing something on that day.
Overall, mother's day is not the only choice to make our mother happy, but we can do it everytime. It is a must for every child in this world to make our mother happy and to make her proud of having children like us.

Untuk mengartikan kata dan mencari sinonim dalam bahasa Inggris, Anda perlu mengetahui konteks kalimatnya.
Superficially = In short = Singkatnya.
Akan tetapi, superficial juga bisa berarti dangkal, cethek.

Present Progresive sama dengan Present continuous Tense.
Tenses ini digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang berlangsung atau sedang dilakukan saat itu.
Pola kalimatnya adalah:
Subject + Tobe(is, am, are) + Verb-ing + Ket. Waktu Present(now, at the moment, at present).
-They are playing fotball now.
-We are studying English at the moment.
-I am listening to music at present.
-She is eating noodle now.
Tenses ini juga digunakan bila dalam kalimat ada keterangan 'Look!', 'Listen!', dll.
Misalnya:
-Look! The monkey is dancing.
-Listen! The girls next door are singing.
Note:
*Untuk membuat kalimat Negative dalam Present Progresive, Anda tinggal menambahkan 'NOT'.
Contoh:
-The children are not playing basketball now.
-My mother is not cooking at the moment.

*Untuk membuat kalimat Tanya, Anda tinggal meletakkan TO BE diawal kalimat.
