NARRATIVE
This is the example of Snow Maiden.
Once upon a time there lived a couple in a village. They had got married for a long time, but so far they did not have a baby yet. Every single minute they prayed to God, begged for a baby, but it never came true.
Ini adalah orientation
Oneday, they went to snow mountain. They made a girl from snow and they dressed her beautifully. When it got dark, they decided to go home and left the snow girl alone. The following morning, someone knocked the door. \\\"Any body home?\\\", she said. The old woman inside opened the door and asked, \\\"Who are you?\\\" The girl said \\\"I\'m Snow Maiden, your daughter\\\". The old woman was surprised and happy. \\\"Oh really? Thanks God! Come in, please!\\\" Since that meeting, they lived happily. Snow Maiden was beautiful, kind, diligent and helpful. Her parents and all of her friends loved her very much.
Ini Evaluation
Oneday, Snow Maiden played with her friends. They played fire. At first, Snow Maiden just looked at their play. Suddenly, her friends asked her to jump on the fire. Of course she refused it because one thing that made her afraid was the fire. It\'s because Snow Maiden was made of snow, so she should avoid the fire. But her friends kept on forcing her to jump on. Finally, she could not do anything then she did it. She jumped on the fire and she melted. Her friends was so sorry about this, they cried and cried hoping Snow Maiden could live again, but it was useless. Snow Maiden would not be back anymore.
Ini complication
Her mother tried to entertain Snow Maiden\\\'s friends and asked them to make a new Snow Maiden. They went to a snow mountain and started making it. They expected to have the new Snow Maiden. Days passed but their dreams never came true.

Type 1, polanya:
Subject + will + Verb-1 + Object, IF + Subject + Verb-1 atau Verb+s/es + Object.
Jika dalam IF Clause tidak ada Verb, maka harus ada Tobe (is, am, are)
Contoh:
-I will pass the final exam if I study hard.

1.Descriptive Teks Deskriptif adalah teks yang isinya mendiskripsikan tentang sesuatu hal (benda/ orang/ tempat/ binatang, dll) secara spesifik / detail.
Generic Structure: Identification – Descriptions.
Example:
If you go to Jakarta, you can visit the Imax Theatre where you can see many shows.( Ini adalah Identification).
It is located in TMII complex, East Jakarta. Many people call it “Keong Mas� because the building has a shape like a snail. It looks amazing. The shape makes this place unique. It also has a large parking area. Besides, you can find a beautiful garden at the front of this building.
PROCEDURE
Teks Prosedur adalah teks yang isinya mengenai langkah-langkah/step bagaimana membuat/ melakukan sesuatu.
Teks Procedure memiliki Generic Structure: Aim/Goal - Materials – Steps.
Contoh:
How to Plant a Flower.(Ini adalah Aim/Goal)
Materials and Tools:
A pail, a flower pot, a water dipper or water hose and a pair of gloves, soil and manure.
Steps:

Teks naratif adalah teks yang isinya tentang ceritera (fiksi/non fiksi/dongeng/cerita rakyat, dll) dan dalam alur cerita /plotnya selalu disertai dengan puncak masalah/ klimaks cerita (complication) kemudian diikuti dengan penyelesaian masalah (Resolution).
Generic Structures: Orientation - Complication - Evaluation (optional)- Resolution
Orientation: it is about WHO, WHEN, and WHERE the story happened.
Evaluation: it is optional, it is usually used to make the story more interesting.
Complication: it is about the conflict or the big problem of the story. A story can have more than one complication.
Resolution: it is the solutiuon of the problem. It can be a happy or sad ending.
Example:The story of Cinderella, Snow White, Snow Maiden.

Thesis:
In Australia there are three levels of government, the federal government, state government and local government. All of these levels of government are necessary. This is so for a number of reasons. Argument 1:
First, the federal givernment is necessary for the big things. They keep the economy in order and look after things like defence.
Argument 2
Similarity, the state governments look after the middle sized things. For example they look after law and order, preventing things like vandalism in schools.
Argument 3:
Finally, local governments look after the small things. They look after things like collecting rubish, otherwise everyone would have disease.
Conclusion:
Thus, for the reasons above we can conclude that the three levels of government are necessary.

Untuk teks pidato apapun topiknya selalu diawali dengan opening,content,closing.
Opening : Greeting, pembuka ttg topiknya.
Yang saya hormati kepala sekolah (The distinguised atau the honorable principal)

Content : pendapat Anda tentang kondisi negara Anda saat ini.

Gene Splicing
Issue:
Genetic research has produced both exciting and frightening possibilities. Scientists are now able to create new forms of life in the laboratory due to the development of gene splicing
Arguments for
On the one hand, the ability to create life in the laboratory could greatly benefit mankind. For example, because it is very expensive to obtain insulin from natural sources, scientists have developed a method to manufacture it inexpensively in the laboratory. Another beneficial application of gene splicing is in agriculture.
Elaboration:
Scientists foresee the day when new plants will be developed using nitrigen from the air instead of form fertilizer. Therefore, food production could be increased. In addition, entirely new plants could be developed to feed the world\\\'s hungry people.
Argument against
Not everyone is excited about gene splicing, however some people feel that it could have terrible consequences. A laboratory accident, for example might cause an epidemic of an unknown disease that could wipe out humanity.
Conclusion:
As a result of this controversy, the government has made rules to control genetics experiments. While some membersof the scientific community feel that these rules are too strict, many other people feel that they are still not strict enough.

would you mind sharing me on how to teach english effectively and make the students joy and fun including your suggestion on what kind of preparations to reach it

Thanks for joining us in KBS.
In our opinion, as a teacher:
1.We must prepare the lessons (including RPP, Materials, Medias, Realia, etc) well.
Medias can attract the students attention, so we must be creative to find various medias related to the topics or text type.
2.During your teching learning process, it will be better if you give a little joke/game to refresh the situation.
3.We must explain the lessons as clear and brief as possible. (Use simple & interesting explanation and acceptable & various classroom languages).
4.A teacher is an actor in the classroom because all students will always look at their teachers, so we as a teacher should have a good performance and personality (kind, helpful, friendly, patient).
5.We, as teachers must be able to handle the class (good in classroom management),because it will influence our teaching process. If the classroom is convenient, the students will enjoy all class activities or our explanation. So, the class will be effective and the students will get much fun in their study.
It\'s just some of our experiences we\'ve done in the classroom. There are still many ways to reach it. Sorry, if it can\'t satisfy you. Wish you a great succes.

In Australia there are three levels of government, the federal government, state government and local government. All of these levels of government are necessary. This is so for a number of reasons. Argument 1:
First, the federal givernment is necessary for the big things. They keep the economy in order and look after things like defence.
Argument 2
Similarity, the state governments look after the middle sized things. For example they look after law and order, preventing things like vandalism in schools.
Argument 3:
Finally, local governments look after the small things. They look after things like collecting rubish, otherwise everyone would have disease.
Conclusion:
Thus, for the reasons above we can conclude that the three levels of government are necessary.
