Recount
Recount adalah teks yang menceritakan tentang apa (kejadian) yang terjadi di masa lampau. Teks Recount dimulai dengan menceritakan siapa saja yang terlibat dalam kejadian, apa yang terjadi, dimana dan kapan kejadiannya terjadi. Ini dinamakan ORIENTATION.
Kemudian diteruskan dengan SEQUENCE OF EVENTS (kronologi keejadian/urut-urutan kejadian).
Dalam teks Recount, mungkin saja ada Reorientation di akhir cerita tapi sifatnya hanya optional.

A visit to a sheep property
Last holidays I visited a sheep property. I helped in the shearing sheds and in the yards.
On the first day the Merino wethers were crutched. I helped by sweeping up after the rouseabout picked up the wool pieces. Shearers start early (at 7.30 am).
After lunch, we started shearing the lambs. There were more than 400 so we didn't finish until the next day. Once again I was sweeping and picking up dags.
I was tired by the end of the day in the shed but our work wasn't finished. We all had to help to get the wethers and lambs back into the paddocks. As well, we had to get a mob of ewes and their lambs into the yards for shearing the next day. Then it was time for tea (that's what my nanna calls dinner).
This was a very long day but I enjoyed it a lot.

Maksud 'Seeing is believing' :Dengan melihat (mengalami) kita percaya (memahami). Kalimat ini senada dengan Learning by doing.
Tips untuk nambah Vocab:
- Jika ada frase/kalimat/ kata baru, silakan cari kata atau frase lain yang memiliki arti hampir sama seperti contoh di atas.
- Menggunakan kata - kata baru dalam pembicaraan sehari - hari.
- Jika membaca bacaan dalam bahasa Inggris dan menemukan kata/frase yang susah, jangan dilewati, silakan cari artinya di kamus.

nah itu ngasi "s"nya di kata kerja ato dmn?
Penambahan 's' ditaruh setelah SUBYEK jika Anda ingin menunjukkan kata benda jamak (plural).
Contoh:
- The students visit museums annually (Kita menambahkan 's' karena untuk menyatakan plural)
- The books are on the table. (Kita menambahkan 's' karena untuk menyatakan plural)
Sedangkan contoh yang Anda berikan : He loves you. Yang Anda maksud adalah Simple Present Tense yang ditambahkan 's' adalah kata kerjanya karena subyeknya singular (He, She, It).

And after I knew that my father has gone, i felt sad, but I when I was a girl, what I knew is my father will be come back to my family, but after i knew what's the meaning by 'died', I know that my father will gone for a long time.. and i felt so upset.."thanks.
