In this e-mail I would like to tell you
about my short experience
One year ago, I and my friend follow study tour in Jogja. I was very
happy because it was my second tour after two years ago. In Jogja, we
would go in three locations namely: Sangiran, Jogja palace, and Malio
boro. First we came together in school and then we had breakfast in
Lestari Restaurant. On the way, only there was a song that always we
are sang. It was “Diam Tanpa Kata” from d’massive we liked it because
in it’s lyric, we could change with “kau takkan pernah SADALI….
BUDALIYEM mencitaimu, kau yang selalu aku inginkan”. But Mr. Sadali
was not angry with us. Didn\'t feel, we arrived in Sangiran. Sangiran
or often called dome sangiran was outback region (depression of Solo)
located in hillside slope lawu, around 17 km from Solo and 4 km from
Sragen. In Sangiran, there were many fossil in showroom approximately
13.685 fossil. But we interested with human fossil and saw the image
of their live. Human fossil that we could find namely:
Australopithecus africanus (it was alive 3.9 and 2.9 million year
ago), Pithecanthropus mojokertensis, Homo soloensis, etc. After we saw
fossil in showroom, we went out to buying a souvenir. I bought example
of shark teeth fossil, and my friend (Yusnur) buy souvenir of example
of stone axe. And we went to Jogja palace. On the way, we gave a story
from Mr. Aries about history of Jogja. And 1 hour later, we arrived in
Jogja palace. In there, we greeted instructor or door –keeper of Jogja
palace and explained history, location, and kings of Jogja palace .
Obvious, Jogja palace was sultan official until year 1950 when
republic of Indonesia government make sultanate Jogja together with
Kadipaten Paku Alaman as a region special autonomied as province by
the name of special region of Yogyakarta. After that, we were
explained about jogja palace. we continued to malio boro with walked
to aim town square and continued with rise pedicab. my first aim were
to bought singlet dagadu and batik bag then continued to buying batik
trousers and batik sandal with Yusnur. When we went to bus, we saw
Puspa, Eva, Puput, and Safitri took picture their self in traffic
lamp. And we went to school and arriving at 10.00 A.M. That’s all.

On Wednesday, my students and I went to Jogjakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro. On Thursday, we visited the temples in Prambanan. There are three big temples, the Brahmana, Syiwa, and Wisnu temples. They are really amazing. We visited only Brahma and Syiwa temples, because Wisnu temple was being renovated. On Friday morning, we went to Jogja Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. Dear Editor,
We are writing to complain about ads on TV. There are so many ads, especially during our favourite programmes. We think they should be stopped for a number of reasons.
First, ads are nuisance. They go on for a long time and there are so many. Sometimes there seems to be more ads than programmes.
Second, ads are bad influence on people. They try to encourage people to buy unhealthy food like beer, soft drink, candy and chips. And they make people want things they do not really need and can not.
Finally, the people who make ads have too much say in what programmes people watch. That is because they want to put all their ads on popular programs that a lot of people watch. Some programmes which are not so popular get stopped because they do not attract enough ads, even though those programmes may be someone’s favourite.
For those reasons, we think TV station should stop showing ads. They interrupt programmes. They are bad influences on people, and they are sometimes put a stop to people’s favourite shows. We are sick of ads, and now we mostly watch other channels.
