mbak tolong buatkan  pendapat yang mengungkapkan setuju tentang diadakannya ujian nasional tahun 2011  dalam bahsa inggris  lengkap dengan alasannya

On April 18 - 21, 2011 all students  at twelfth grade in Indonesia did the National Final Exam. They had to finish 6 subjects. For this year, the rules of the test are different from the previous year. One of them is that the students have 5 different package tests. I do agree with the National Final Exam because of some reasons. 

Firstly, the different package testmakes all students  prepare the test well.  It means that they are expected to be honest during the test. it makes them difficult to cheat during the exam. They must know that the final exam is a tool to measure their quality in understanding the subjects tested.

Secondly, the NAtional Final Exam can be used as barometer of education in Indonesia. The minimum score that the students must get is higher than last year. it means that it can improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

pak/bu saya ingin bertanya mengenai main idea, concluding text, tolong triknya agar bisa cepat dan akurat dalam menjawab soal-soal Ujian Nasional, tolong dijawab ya, soalnya un tinggal menghitung hari. Mohon doa restunya ya bu/pak, supaya tahun  UN 2010-2011 bisa lulus seratus %, amin .

Terima kasih atas pertanyaannya.

Untuk mencari main idea dari paragraf biasanya ada pada kalimat pertama dalam paragraf. Namun kadang juga ada di akhir kalimat dalam paragraf..

Untuk concluding text maka seluruh teks tersebut dibaca, pasti nanti akan dapat pesan dari teks tersebut, hanya yang perlu dipehatikan biasanya kalimatnya akan sedikit diubah. 

Untuk mencermati hal itu memang perlu penguasaan kosa kata utamanya sinonim atau kata yang sejenis.

Tips yang lain ketika menjawab soal adalah tenang dan percaya diri serta ikuti suara hati karena bekal yang diberikan sudah sangat cukup. Ibu yakin pasti akan dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan sempurna. Selamat belajar and good luck for the final exam...

Pakistan PM Gilani meets Afghanistan dan Karzai in Kabul

Mr Gilani is travelling with two other high-ranking Pakistani officials

Pakistani Prime Minsiter Yousuf Raza Gilani has travelled to Kabul for talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and other government officials.

Mr Gilani is joined by his armed forces chief, Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, and the head of the intelligence agency, Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha.

The leaders discussed the Taliban conflict and regional security, as well as trade issues.

Mr Gilani made his first visit to Afghanistan in December 2010.

Correspondents say it is unusual for such high-ranking figures to make the visit together.

The talks are about forging a new chapter in Afghan-Pakistan relations after years of tension, says the BBC\'s Jill McGivering.

They also come at a time when US relations with both nations are deeply strained.

Before leaving for Kabul, Mr Gilani told reporters in Pakistan that he was taking a "message of love for the Afghan people" and would extend complete support to his country's neighbour.

Functions and examples

We use comparatives to compare two things.
John is thinner than Bob.
It's more expensive to travel by train than by bus.
My house is smaller than my friend's house.

We use superlatives to compare one thing with the rest of the group it belongs to.
John is the tallest in the class.
He's the best football player in the team.
This is the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in.

Important points

We do not use the with the superlative if there is a possessive.
His strongest point is his ambition.

We use as + adjective + as to say that two things are equal in some way.
He's as tall as me.
Jim's car is as fast as mine.

We use not as to say that two things are not equal in some way.
He's not as tall as me.
Jim's car is not as fast as mine.

We can modify comparatives with much, a lot, far, a little, a bit, slightly.
Bob is much richer than I am.
My mother's hair is slightly longer than mine.

We can modify superlative with by far, easily and nearly.
Mario's is by far the best restaurant in town.
I'm nearly the oldest in the class.

If the second part of a comparative or superlative sentence is clear from what comes before or from the context, we can omit it.
Going by bus is very fast, but the train is more comfortable.

We can repeat comparatives to say that something is changing.
These exams are getting worse and worse every year.
She gets more and more beautiful every time I see her.
