Bagaimana penggunaan kata since dan for?
Since dan For adalah conjunction. Keduanya biasa digunakan dalam Perfect Tense.
Contoh:
- I have learned English since 2002.
- I have learned English for five years.
Since diikuti point of time (tahun 2002, May).
Sedangkan For diikuti period of time (for five years, for an hour, for a week, etc.)

Apa itu tenses?
Tenses adalah bentuk waktu. Dalam bahasa Inggris, ketika kita akan mengungkapkan sesuatu hal pada waktu sekarang, beda dengan kemaren ataupun besok. Kita harus menggunakan bentuk waktu secara disiplin. Misalnya, ketika kita hendak mengungkapkan sesuatu pada waktu sekarang, maka tenses yang digunakan adalah Present, sedangkan untuk waktu lampau, kita menggunakan tenses Past, dan untuk masa yang akan datang, kita menggunakan Future tense.

Bagian - bagian (Generic Structure):
Identification --> indetifies phenomenon to be described (berisi tentang identifikasi sesuatu fenomena yang akan dideskripsikan secara spesifik).
Description --> describes : parts, quality, and characteristics(colours, size, habitat, habit, behaviour, etc.)of the object.
Descriptive memang biasa menggunakan Simple Present Tense karena teks ini memang mendeskripsikan sesuatu secara nyata, apa adanya. Dan memang salah satu ciri kebahasaan dalam teks Descriptive adalah mengunakan Simple Present Tense.

Argument 1:
First, the federal givernment is necessary for the big things. They keep the economy in order and look after things like defence.
Argument 2
Similarity, the state governments look after the middle sized things. For example they look after law and order, preventing things like vandalism in schools.,br>
Argument 3:
Finally, local governments look after the small things. They look after things like collecting rubbish, otherwise everyone would have disease.
Conclusion:
Thus, for the reasons above we can conclude that the three levels of government are necessary.
