Saya masih bingung dalam menentukan main idea dan topic sentence. Apa yang dimaksud dng keduanya? Dan bagaimana cara membedakan keduanya? Apakah main idea itu selalu kalimat awal dari suatu paragraf?

Yes, it's true that main idea is mostly at the beginning of the paragraph. it means that it's the first sentence in a paragraph. In a long composition or essay writing; main idea is the topic sentence of the paragraph and it's usually followed bu the supporting details or supporting sentences. The supporting sentences are used to give some more explanation about themain idea or the topic sentence.
