Fungsinya untuk menyuruh seseorang mengerjakan sesuatu dan menyuruh supaya sesuatu dikerjakan oleh orang lain.

            S + get + Someone + to + V1

            S + get + Something + V3

Eg:

Antipoda merupakan hasil pembelahan sel kelamin betina (oogenesis) yang kemudian membentuk konfigurasi tetapi kemudian melebur(gradasi).

Lidya: Yes, of course. Why don’t you start reading some chicklit or teenlit? Theya re very popular right now. Try to read “Dealova” for a start.

Lidya: See, how you get interested in reading. Why don’t you just read about a subject that you like first?
Mira: Ha..ha..ha… all right. I will read some teenlit or chicklit for a start.

Pada dasarnya semua jenis enzym yang terdapat pada hewan bertulang belakang adalah sama dengan enzym pada tubuh manusia, demikian pula kegunaannya.

dan determinan dari matriks BC adalah k.

 The School's new Rule

Two students were discussing the school’s new rule that all the students must wear a cap and a tie. One of them showed her annoyance. She said that wearing a cap and a tie was only suitable for a flag ceremony. So, she was against the rule. Contrary to the girl’s opinion, the other student was glad with it. He said that he didn’t mind with the new rule because wearing a cap and a tie will make the students look great and like real educated persons. The first student gave the reasons that they would feel uncomfortable and hot. Moreover, the classrooms were not air conditioned. The second said it wasn’t a big problem. He was sure that the students would wear them proudly. They would surely be used to it any way.
