Durian is the fruit of trees from the genus durio belonging to the durionaceae family Durian, native to Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia, has been known to the western world for about 600 years. The name of durian itself comes from the Malays word “duri” (thorn).            Widely known in Southeast Asia as the “King of Fruits”, durian is distinctive for its large size, unique odor and formidable thorn-covered husk. Pak/Bu, mohon jawabannya SEGERA. Terima kasih.

We can find camels in the desert. They are very special animals. They have long necks and one or two humps on their backs. It can grow to 7 feet height. A grown-up camel weighs about 800 kg.

A camel can go without food or water for many days. It stores fat in its hump. When there is no food, it eats the fat. It has an extra stomach for storing water. That’s why camels were the main transporter used in Middle East and north of Africa.

The camel can walk on the hot burning sand because its feet are padded. The padded feet also help the camel to walk on the soft sand without sinking into it. The feet could reach almost 2 m height. The strong feet also enable them to run regardless of his weight.

The camel is used to carry goods across the desert. So, people call it the “ship of the desert.”

Pertanyaan2nya adalah:

1.   The purpose of the text is ………

      a.   to tell how camels live in desert

      b.   to inform the function of a camel for human being

      c.   to describe a camel

      d.   to tell what camel is

      Yg betul A / C ya, Pak/Bu? Mohon dijelaskan.
