Baik akan saya jawab, Memang report text adalah merupakan jenis text(genre) yang berbentuk description. Namun biasanya report text adalah sebuah text yang mendescripsikan phenomena atau facta atau object secara umum (general)
sebagai contoh :
Bila anda mendiscripsikan ibu anda dengan judul 'My Mother' anda mendiscripsikan khusu tentang ibu anda. Namun apabila anda mendiscripsikan ibu pada umumnya dengan judul misalnya 'Mother, anda mendiscripsikan ibu secara umum. Ini merupakanreport text.
Contoh lain misalnya 'Cats', anda mendescripsikan kucing secara umum, ini adalah report text.
Bandingkan dengan 'My Lovely Cat' misalnya, anda akan mendiscripsikan kucing anda saja. ini merupakan descriptive text.
