 gambar grafik y=-x+5,dan berikan cara pengerjaannya secara detail

untuk menggambar grafik, kita dapat menentukan lebih dahulu koordinat titik potong grafik dengan sumbu x dan sumbu y. Grafik dapat kita peroleh dari garis yang menghubungkan kedua titik potong tersebut.

contoh : gambar grafik y = -x + 5

Titik potong grafik dengan sumbu y berarti x = 0

y= -x +5

y= 0 + 5

y= 5

Jadi koordinat titik potongnya ( 0,5 )

 

Titik potong grafik dengan sumbu x, berarti y=0, sehingga y = -x +5 menjadi 0 = -x +5 jadi x=5.

Jadi koordinat titik potong grafik dengan sumbu x adalah ( 5,0 )

Kita gambar titik ( 0,5 ) dan ( 5,0 ) pada grafik Cartesius dan kita hubungkan kedua titik tersebut, kita temukan garis lurus yang merupakan gambar grafik y = -x + 5

Bagai mana caranya mencari luas trapesium sama kaki, jika diketahui panjang sisi-sisi sejajar dan salah satu sudutnnya. tolong beri contih soalnya.

 

Pada dasarnya luas trapesium = 1/2(jumlah sisi yang sejajar x tinggi)

Contoh: Diketahui sebuah trapesium sama kaki ABCD, dengan AB//CD. Panjang sisi alas (AB) 20 cm dan panjang sisi atas (CD) 10 cm  dan besar sudut alasnya 45o . Hitunglah luas trapesium tsb.

Jawab: Sisi alas = 20 cm

           sisi atas = 10 cm, maka

selisih panjang antara kedua sisi = 20 cm - 10 cm = 10 cm. Berarti panjang masing-masing sisi kiri dan kanannya = 5 cm(sisi kanan = sisi kiri).

Karena sudut alasnya 45o berarti tinggi trapesium = panjang sis kana atau kiri, yaitu = 5 cm.

Jadi luas trapesium sama kaki tersebut adalah = 1/2(20 + 10) x 5 = 75 cm2

Tolong jelaskan cara mencari luas daerah antara dua lingkaran yang konsentris jika diketahui panjang tali busur yang menyinggung lingkaran kecil. makasih pak atas penjelasannya.

Kita misalkan jari jari lingkaran besar = r2 dan jari jari lingkaran kecil = r1, panjang tali busur yang menyinggung lingkaran kecil = p

Sehingga dengan teorema pythagoras r22 - r12=(1/2p)2

Luas daerah antara 2 lingkaran yang konsentris = Luas  lingkaran besar - luas lingkaran kecil = ∏r22 -∏r12 = ∏(r22 -r12) = ∏(1/2 p)2 . sebagai contoh jika panjang tali busur lingkaran besar yang memotong lingkaran kecil 20 cm, maka lua daerah antara dua lingkaran adalah = ∏ x 102 = 3,14 x 100 = 314 cm2

nilai stationer pada y=f(x) dengan cara dy/dx=f'(x)=0

dari f'(x)=0 akan didapat akar-akarnya misalnya x1, x2

nah nilai stationer fungsi f(x) adalah f(x1), f(x2)

contoh:

Tentukan nilai stationer dari f(x)= (1/3) x3+(5/2)x2+6x+7

Jawab:

f'(x)= x2 +5x+6=0

(x+2)(x+3)=0

x=-2 atau x=-3

Untuk x=-2 maka nilai f(-2)=f(x)= (1/3) -23+(5/2)(-2)2+6(-2)+7= -8/3-10-12+7=-17 2/3

Untuk x=-3 silahkan dicari seperti di atas (untuk latihan)

Long ago on the top of Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, there lived a dragon. He owned a large and beautiful pearl. People believed that he controlled the weather with it.

            The emperor of China heard this and wanted the pearl. He sent his two sons, Wee Ping and Wee San to Borneo to steal it. The princes, together with one hundred soldiers, set sail for Borneo in twelve sailing junks.

            When they arrived in Borneo, The set out immediately to find the famous mountain. Their journey up the rugged slopes of Mount Kinabalu proved very difficult. The dragon guarded his cave very fiercely and killed many of their soldiers.

            Then Wee San had a clever idea. He climbed a tall tree, so he could see the dragon’s cave. He noted what time the dragon left his cave to hunt for food and what time he returned  to it.

            Next he ordered his men to make a fake pearl and a large kite. He waited until the dragon left his cave. Then he placed the fake pearl in a bag, slung it across his shoulder and flew up to the mountain-top on the kite. He exchanged the real pearl for the fake one and then his brother pulled his kite back to the ground.

            The brothers quickly returned to their ships and set sail for China. They sailed safely home. The emperor was thrilled with the pearl and gave a big party to celebrate his sons’ return.
