On Wednesday, my students and I went to Jogjakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro. On Thursday, we visited the temples in Prambanan. There are three big temples, the Brahmana, Syiwa, and Wisnu temples. They are really amazing. We visited only Brahma and Syiwa temples, because Wisnu temple was being renovated. On Friday morning, we went to Jogja Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. We arrived there at four p.m. At 5 p.m. we heard announcement that Borobudur gate would be closed. In the evening we left for Jakarta by Wisata bus.

It happened on Sunday morning a few days ago. When I was about to have my routine cup of coffee along with a bagel, I realized that I did not have any bread at all. I have to admit that I am unable to enjoy coffee without some kind of baked goods.
Then I decided to run out to buy something, but all the stores were closed, but one. That store did not have any fresh pastries, and I ended up buying four slices of wheat bread. I was frustrated for two reasons: firstly, I couldn’t enjoy drinking my coffee on Sunday morning; and secondly, the sales woman charged me $3.00 for four slices of bread!
Next, I returned to the building where I live on the tenth floor, stepped into the elevator, pushed the button, and got out. When I reached my apartment and tried to unlock the door, I could not turn the key. I made a few attempts without success. I started banging on the door hoping to wake up my daughter. I was not successful at that either.
I can’t explain how it crossed my mind to check the number of the apartment. The apartment number was correct, except for the first digit: the apartment was on the ninth floor, but the tenth. I was shocked to realize that I had been banging on somebody else’s door.
I still muse over what might have happened if somebody had opened the door and what he or she would have said to me at 8:00 am on Sunday morning.

The Great White Shark
The great white shark, Carcharodon carcharias, also known as the great white, white pointer, white shark, or white death, is a species of large lamniform shark which can be found in the coastal surface waters of all the major oceans. The great white shark is mainly known for its size, with the largest individuals known to have approached or exceeded 6 m (20 ft) in length, and 2,268 kg (5,000 lb) in weight. This shark reaches its maturity around 15 years of age and can have a life span of over 30 years.
The great white shark is arguably the world's largest known extant macropredatory fish, and is one of the primary predators of marine mammals. It is also known to prey upon a variety of other marine animals, including fish and seabirds. It is the only known surviving species of its genus Carcharodon, and is ranked first in having the most attacks on humans. The IUCN list the great white shark as a vulnerable species, while it is included in Appendix II of CITES.
The best selling novel Jaws by Peter Benchley and the subsequent blockbuster film by Steven Spielberg depicted the great white shark as a "ferocious man eater". In reality, humans are not the preferred prey of the great white shark.
Mathias Muchus
Mathias Muchus (born in Pagar Alam, South Sumatra, February 15, 1957, age 55 years) is an Indonesian senior actor. Mathias Muchus had blood coming from his father Minangkabau of West Sumatra Solok. The father had been long settled in the city of Pagar Alam as a salesman. But talent salesperson was not down to him, because he was more interested in the art world. That's why after high school in Pagar Alam, he decided to migrate to Jakarta in order to realize his dream.
In Jakarta, he continued school at the Department of Theatre at the Jakarta Art Institute to complete. When I was in college he has been heavily involved in acting on stage which was held by his alma mater. His acting talent was discovered by script writer Tatiek Maliyati who was helping her husband make a soap opera director Rev. Sihombing "Inns" in the early 1980s TVRI. Tatiek W Maliyati who is also a lecturer at the IKJ recommend playing in the soap opera. There Mathias Muchus compete acting with senior artists like Mieke Wijaya, Mang Udel, and also popular singer Dewi Yul. The soap opera also popularized the name of the artist Eeng Saptahadi and Ida Leman.
