Japan is a land of striking scenic beauty. First time visitors are impressed by its greenness and its mountains, which cover nearly three-quarters of the country. With seventy-five percent of the nation unsuitable for either habitation or cultivation due to mountains and rocky sea coasts, and with only 16 percent of the land cultivated, the entire Japanese population actually lives in an area roughly the size of the state of Maine, about 85,470 sq km (33,000 sq ml). This makes Japan the most populated country in the world in terms of population per livable square mile.

Houdini was planning to perform an escape from a steel trunk wrapped in chains and dropped into a frozen river. Because the river was so cold, he’d only have a few minutes to escape in order to survive. They wrapped Houdini in a straight jacket, locked him into the trunk, secured the chains, and then dropped him into the river through a hole cut into the ice. Minutes passed and Houdini did not appear. When enough time has passed to make it appear that Houdini’s escape has failed, the grief stricken party left the scene and reported that Houdini had died. One friend remained at the hole in the ice, not yet convinced that Houdini had drowned. To this utter amazement, Houdini did indeed surface at the spot.
When the half-frozen artist had recovered enough, the told his friend that he hadn’t accounted for the current of the river under the ice. The river had carried the trunk, he couldn’t find the hole cut into the ice. He managed to get oxygen from air pockets caught between the ice and the water, but he had no way of finding the hole through the thick ice. Then he heard his mother’s voice calling him. He followed her voce, and it led him to the hole in the ice where his friend was waiting.
This was amazing, first, because his mother lived in another city and was nowhere hear the scene of the frozen river. But it is more amazing than that was the fact that when Houdini tried to call his mother, he was informed that she had died just hours before.

bagaimana kiat kiat agar mudah menjawab pertanyaan soal tentang error recognition..
ada beberapa cara diantaranya:
1. analisa kalimat dengan grammar kalau past tense memakai verb 2,present verb 1, dst
2. Masih dengan analisa kalimat kalau to diikuti verb 1, kalau modal diikuti verb asli,
3. latihan rutin dengan buku grammar yang ada kuncinya,caranya dikerjakan dulu baru di ceck di kunci.

Comparatives and superlatives are used to express degrees of comparison. We form adjective in comparative form to compare two similar things. Superlatives are used to show the greatest degree of a quality or quantity among three or more people or things.
Comparatives are formed by adding the suffix –er or the preceding word ‘more’. Superlatives are formed by adding the suffix –est or the preceding word ‘most’. The correct comparative and superlative forms of an adjective depend on the number of syllable of the adjective.
For adjective that has one syllable, we add the suffix –er to form comparative and suffix –est to form superlative. E.g. taller, tallest; bigger, biggest; larger, largest. For adjective that has more than one syllable, we add the preceding word ‘more’ to form comparative and ‘most’ to form superlative. E.g. more precise, most precise; more peaceful, most peaceful; more beautiful, most beautiful.
Please take note that two-syllable adjectives ending with –y, -er, -le or –ow will use the suffix –er or suffix –est form to form comparative or superlative. E.g. prettier, prettiest; gentler, gentlest; narrower, narrowest. Adding ‘more’ or ‘most’ to two-syllable adjectives to form comparative or superlative, however, is getting common and gaining ground in modern English. E.g. more pretty, most pretty; more gentle, most gentle; more narrow, most narrow.
There are certain adjectives that have irregular forms of comparatives and superlatives. In other words, these adjectives do not follow the rules mentioned in the previous two paragraphs. E.g. good, better, best; bad, worse, worst; far, farther, farthest; little, less, least; many, more, most.
When using comparative adjective in a sentence, we add the word ‘than’ immediately after the adjective. E.g. Sabrina is smarter than Shakira. When using superlative adjective in a sentence, we add the word ‘the’ before the adjective. E.g. Sally is the smartest student at our school.
